  • CEMETERY MAINTENANCE WORK

    Week Commencing 10 November

The Parish Council wishes to inform parishioners that grass reseeding and levelling work
will be carried out in parts of the cemetery during the week commencing 10 November.

The appointed contractor will need to temporarily remove items from the terrace areas of
graves. These items will be carefully placed at the head of each grave to allow the
reseeding and levelling to take place.

We kindly ask that graves are kept clear of ornaments, flowers, and other items during this
period to enable the work to be completed respectfully and efficiently.

    A Reminder of Cemetery Rules

All items should be placed within the headstone area only.

Grassed areas must be kept clear to allow for maintenance.

The Council reserves the right to remove any items that prevent safe upkeep or
    maintenance of the cemetery.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we carry out these essential
improvements to maintain the dignity and appearance of our cemetery.
